Background on the InBreath Institute

Heinz Gerd Lange originally founded InBreath - the Institute for Breath Therapy and Transformational Healing in June 2000 together with Jane Okondo. Having met in 1996 they immediately discovered their mutual passion for the healing power of the breath and their vision of sharing this experience with as many people as possible.

Drawing on their expertise in the many healing approaches they embrace, Heinz Gerd and Jane set out to create a new training with a new concept. Unique, and for the first time in the UK, a Breath Therapy training was developed, that besides breathwork, also included the creative arts, Voice
Dialogue, transformational psychology, shadow and process work, the transpersonal, subtle anatomy and energy work, transformational healing and many other aspects of leading edge tools not reflected in other previous trainings.

When 2005 Jane set out to embrace a different type of breathwork called Continuum (she is now an internationally acclaimed teacher in it), Heinz Gerd continued for a few more years with a highly trained assistant team.

In 2008, having met his now wife Lera, a gifted Ukrainian Breathwork trainer on the international Breathwork conference GIC 2008, the development of InBreath took a quantum leap. After a short sabbatical Lera and Heinz Gerd embarked to facilitate an international training program that now spans many European countries and has developed into a truly international training organisation. 2012 saw a complete overhaul of the training structure, that has now culminated in the international modular structure that forms the new InBreath Breath Therapy training presented here.

Their ongoing quest for personal excellence has led them to train in many different healing arts with inspiring masters, bringing back new and exciting tools for this training. Newest research in neuro-biology, neuro-plasticity, quantum physics and energy medicine has also been incorporated and keep this ever-evolving program alive.

Heinz Gerd and Lera hold a complementary blend of skills and experience and together they create a unique space for transformation in a safe supportive environment, based on heart-centered, unconditional acceptance.
